Sea- Tails is a 1979 fiberglass Bob Perry designed, Cheoy Lee 44' Ketch.  She celebrates her 30^th birthday this year.  She has a modern fin keel hull design with a classic wood  Cheoy Lee interior.  She was built to cruise the world and she has with her previous owners.  She's a pleasure to sail with a easy motion through the water and a good turn of speed, however at 30,000lbs, winds above 10kts are desired to be competitive while racing.   We both love the looks of this Perry design!

 

We are about 75% complete in our refit, with just the interior and exterior bright work and new sails left to finish.

 

She is named for our two Toy Australian Shepherds.

Jim is an excellent trainer with plenty of patience and is willing to train inexperienced crew as long as they have enthusiasm, a good sense of humor, and want to have fun!
